About Bath Drama...
Bath Drama celebrated our centenary year in 2019. Originally founded just after the First World War, we have produced hundreds of shows since then, and are still thriving today. A registered charity, Bath Drama is run by a committee of volunteers, and produces three shows every year, each performed at The Rondo Theatre.
The annual panto in January is one of Bath Drama's oldest traditions, usually taking place the week after the Main House production. This year's Panto was Beauty & The Beast, and was an extravaganza of bold characters and beautiful design. Led by director, Lauren Arena-McCann, alongside a talented cast and crew, the show saw five shows in four days, and was very well received.
Our typical spring and autumn productions have included Shakespeare, Ibsen and Chekhov, new writing, comedies, dramas, thrillers - whatever seems to offer quality entertainment for our audiences and interesting and stimulating challenges for our actors, directors and stage crew.
Although Bath Drama productions are mostly at The Rondo Theatre in Larkhall, our home is the Rec Pavilion, run by the fantastic team at Bath Recreation Ground Trust.
New members are a very important part of Bath Drama, who pride themselves on holding truly open auditions!
