about us
Since 1919
Originally founded just after World War I, Bath Drama have produced hundreds of shows since our inception. A registered charity, Bath Drama is run by a committee of volunteers, and produces three shows every year, each performed at The Rondo Theatre.
The annual pantomime in January is one of Bath Drama's oldest traditions, usually taking place the week after the Main House production. Our typical Spring and Autumn productions have included plays by Shakespeare, Ibsen and Chekhov; new writing, comedies, dramas, and thrillers - whatever offers quality entertainment for our audiences and interesting and stimulating challenges for our actors, directors and stage crew.
Although Bath Drama productions are performed at The Rondo Theatre in Larkhall, our home is the Rec Pavilion, run by the fantastic team at Bath Recreation Ground Trust.
New members are a very important part of Bath Drama, and we pride ourselves on holding truly open auditions!
We are always on the look out for new actors, directors, stage crew, set builders, and potential committee members - if you are interested in joining Bath Drama, get in touch today via the 'Join Us' page!
